The TN visa is temporary. It allows Candian and Mexican citizens to work in the US for up to three years. The visa can be renewed in additional three-year increments. There is no cap on how many times the visa can be renewed. However, the individual must be able to prove that they have intent to leave the US rather than stay on a permanent basis.
